State Immunization Requirements
Did you know that each state has individual immunization laws and requirements?
All 7th graders in the State of Iowa are required to have an updated Tdap and Meningococcal immunization. Please continue reading below for additional information.
Effective, January 11, 2017, Iowa law requires that all students entering 7th and 12th grade receive the meningococcal (A, C W, Y) vaccine. This change is being implemented at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year. If your child already received the vaccine, parents will simply need to provide documentation to the school nurse.

This change is being implemented at the beginning of the 2013-14 school year. If your child already received the vaccine, parents will simply need to provide documentation to the school nurse.
